Stroke Rehabilitation Research Satellite Meeting
Establishing Collaborations and Priorities in Clinical and Translational Stroke Rehabilitation Research
Date: Saturday 12th – Sunday 13th May 2012
Venue: Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia
The objective of this satellite is to establish national & international networks and priorities for stroke rehabilitation research. The meeting is aimed at experienced stroke clinicians and researchers including basic scientists.
The satellite meeting will be held in the Hunter Valley, 2 hours north of Sydney and has the following goals:
- Identifying current high priority directions of stroke rehabilitation research
- Identifying priorities for near future research in stroke rehabilitation and recovery
- Developing networks and collaborations in stroke rehabilitation research to facilitate priorities and coordination of research programs
- Facilitate processes that help define/achieve consensus around standards and measures in stroke rehabilitation and recovery research
- Facilitate communication and planning between basic science researchers and clinical researchers

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be provided to the Congress Secretariat in writing. For cancellations prior to 14 April 2012, a full refund, less a Au$150 processing fee will be provided.
No refunds will be available for any cancellations received after 14 April 2012 however a substitute delegate may be nominated.
Substitute names will be accepted. Substituting a delegate from the same organisation is welcome providing the Congress Secretariat is notified by email by 1 May 2012.
ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION
Accommodation bookings should be made with the Secretariat before 13 April 2012, as hotels will release group bookings after this date.
** IMPORTANT **
Cancellations and changes should be made through the Secretariat only. There is no guarantee that cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will receive a full refund as hotels reserve the right to charge a fee equal to 1 night’s accommodation or the full duration of the stay on any rooms cancelled within 30 days of the accommodation arrival date.
