Dr Paul Winston, MD, BSc, FRCPC is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia and Medical Lead for Rehabilitation Medicine at Victoria General Hospital, Victoria, Canada. He is Co-Founder of CANOSC and a past President of the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr Winston is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in ultrasound-guided nerve-targeting procedures and cryoneurolysis for spasticity, pain, and neurological rehabilitation. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and theAtlas of Ultrasound-Guided Nerve Targeted Procedures for Spasticity, and has taught physicians from leading centres around the world. His research focuses on developing innovative treatments that improve function and quality of life for people living with neurological disabilities.

Dr Ng Yee Sien is a Senior Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine and Clinical Researcher at Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital. He serves as Associate Professor and Associate Dean at Duke-NUS Medical School, Lead Scientist at the Geriatric Education and Research Institute (GERI), and Senior Research Scientist at SingHealth’s Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI). 

Grounded by a Harvard fellowship in neurorehabilitation, his translational research spans stroke recovery, frailty prevention, muscle health, assistive technology, and life-space mobility. Recognized among the Stanford-Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists, he has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and received the SingHealth GCEO Outstanding Clinician Award. Committed to medical education in rehabilitation, Dr Ng chairs the Examinations Committee within the Residency Advisory Committee for Rehabilitation Medicine under the Joint Committee on Specialist Training (JCST), Ministry of Health (MOH), and has been recognized with the Residency in SingHealth Excels (RiSE) Award for Outstanding Faculty. 

As Senior Consultant to the MOH, he co-leads the National One-Rehabilitation Strategy, playing a key role in shaping national care frameworks, service definitions, placement criteria, and outcome models across the care continuum.  Beyond clinical and health services leadership, Dr Ng is a dedicated advocate for disability empowerment. He serves as the Medical Expert Lead for National Disability Schemes at MOH, a member of the Disability Technical Expert Panel at the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), an Executive Board Member at SPD, and Chair of the Singapore Cancer Society Rehabilitation Committee—advocating for inclusive care through education, research, policy, and community action. Above all, he remains deeply passionate about walking alongside patients and families to restore function, dignity, and quality of life through rehabilitation.

Jennie Ponsford (AO, BA(Hons), MA(Clin Neuropsych), PhD, MAPsS, FCCN) is Sir John Monash Distinguished Professor of Neuropsychology in the School of Psychological Sciences at Monash University. She is Director of the Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre at Epworth Healthcare. Over 45 years she has conducted clinical work and research with individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI), investigating outcomes and the efficacy of rehabilitative interventions, with over 560 publications, including two books. She is Past-President of the International Neuropsychological Society (INS), International Association for Study of TBI and Australasian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment. She has received the Robert Moody prize for Distinguished Initiatives in Brain Injury and Rehabilitation (2013), INS Paul Satz Career Mentoring Award (2015), IBIA Jennett Plum Award for Outstanding Clinical Achievement in Brain Injury Medicine (2023) Australian Psychological Society Award of Distinction in Psychological Science. and in 2017 was made Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished contributions to neuropsychology and diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of TBI. In 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 she was named as Australia’s leading researcher in Rehabilitation Therapy. She serves on editorial boards of seven journals and is an Associate Editor of Journal of the International Neuropsychological Society.
