On behalf of the Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand (RMSANZ) and our Organising Committee, we are delighted to invite you to our RMSANZ 10th Annual Scientific Meeting, which is being held at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park from 18–21 July 2027.

The theme for the conference is Rehab 360°: Connected Care. Rehabilitation is inherently connected. It brings together people, teams, services and communities, linking acute care with rehabilitation, hospital with home, research with clinical practice, and innovation with better patient outcomes. As healthcare continues to evolve, rehabilitation medicine is uniquely positioned to lead integrated, person-centred models of care that strengthen these connections across the rehabilitation journey. Together, we will explore innovative models of care, digital health, interdisciplinary collaboration and emerging evidence that are shaping the future of rehabilitation medicine.

Our scientific program will showcase the breadth and diversity of contemporary rehabilitation medicine. We are delighted to welcome distinguished international invited speakers alongside leading experts from Australia, New Zealand and across the Asia-Pacific region. Through inspiring keynote presentations, interactive workshops, panel discussions, concurrent sessions and practical clinical updates, delegates will explore advances in clinical practice, research, education, technology and service delivery.

The meeting will provide an outstanding opportunity for rehabilitation professionals, trainees, medical students, researchers and colleagues from allied health, nursing and related medical specialties to exchange ideas, build lasting professional networks, foster new collaborations and translate knowledge into better rehabilitation outcomes.

Melbourne is one of the world's most liveable cities, renowned for its vibrant multicultural community, thriving arts scene, exceptional dining and celebrated coffee culture. From hidden laneway cafés and acclaimed restaurants to the iconic Queen Victoria Market, the National Gallery of Victoria, Royal Botanic Gardens and Melbourne Cricket Ground, the city offers a unique blend of culture, sport and hospitality.

Beyond the city, Victoria boasts some of Australia's most spectacular destinations. Sample award-winning wines in the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula, take in the breathtaking scenery of the Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles, witness the world-famous Penguin Parade on Phillip Island, or journey through the picturesque Dandenong Ranges aboard the historic Puffing Billy Railway.

We encourage you to bring your family and extend your stay to discover all that Melbourne and Victoria have to offer while joining us for what promises to be an exciting, stimulating and memorable scientific meeting.

The Organising Committee and I look forward to welcoming you to Melbourne in 2027.

Kind regards,

Dr Krystal Song
