RFDS Darwin Tourist Facility, including Bombing of Darwin Harbour experience
A short stroll from the Darwin Convention Centre, the Royal Flying Doctor Service Museum tells two iconic Territory stories. The RFDS started Territory operations in 1939, the Museum also tells the tale of the bombing of Darwin Harbour during WWII. See, experience, and learn through the wonder of technology as this facility brings history to life.

Aqua Park

Outstation Gallery
Gallerists Matt Ward and Paul Johnstone have united to create Outstation Gallery, bringing their shared commitment to exceptional, ethical Aboriginal art into one beautifully designed space on Darwin Harbour. Working closely with Aboriginal-owned art centres, they offer a powerful and respectful showcase of world-class work.
As a signatory to the Indigenous Art Code, Outstation maintains fair and transparent relationships with artists and communities. With over 40 years’ combined experience, Matt and Paul have facilitated major acquisitions for leading institutions including the NGA, NMA, NGV, AGSA, QAG, Artbank and the British Museum.
Outstation also exhibits contemporary work by non-Indigenous artists connected to Darwin, including Steve Gough, David Wickens, Hannah van der Wal, Bryan Bulley, Sarah Brown and Geoff Todd.
Outstation Gallery is a short walk along the waterfront, delegates are encouraged to visit during their time at RMSANZ 2026.
