Developed by The Kids Research Institute Australia, Inklings empowers caregivers who share in the care of babies and very young children, giving them the tools to nurture and support the earliest stages of social and communication development.
Inklings focuses on what matters most in early development: everyday interactions between babies and their caregivers. Through observation, reflection, and practical guidance, we help caregivers notice, understand, and respond to their baby’s communication in ways that feel achievable and affirming.
When communication cues are subtle or unexpected, early interactions can feel confusing or stressful. Inklings bridges research and practice, building caregiver confidence, strengthening relationships, and turning small moments of connection into powerful drivers of lifelong development.
