NSANZ is pleased to offer another hands-on Cadaver Workshop in September 2026. It will take place at the Macquarie University Labs, Sydney, on Saturday 5 September 2026.
Based on feedback from previous workshops, we aim to divide delegates into two groups:
‘‘Beginner/Intermediate’’ and ‘‘Advanced’’ with more time spent at each station to facilitate a superior learning experience for practitioners of all levels. The procedures taught are informed by the Faculty of Pain Medicine's procedures endorsement program and delegates who attend multiple workshops can expect to be exposed to expert instruction regarding the breadth of the procedure list.
The day will be split into two workshops:
The Radiofrequency Workshop
Focus on diagnostic and therapeutic injections as well as radiofrequency neurotomy techniques targeting the spine (Sacral, lumbar and cervical). The workshop will also feature radiofrequency procedures for shoulder, hip and knee.
The Neurostimulation Workshop
Focus on various implanting techniques for thoracolumbar epidural spinal cord stimulation. Included within this is a surgical implant and suturing station.
