About the Australian Nurse Teachers' Society (ANTS)

The Australian Nurse Teachers’ Society (ANTS) is the national professional organisation dedicated exclusively to nursing and midwifery education in Australia. Established in 1975, ANTS brings together educators from clinical, academic, vocational and specialist practice settings who share a commitment to developing the nursing and midwifery workforce of the future. ANTS represents a diverse membership of nurse educators, clinicians, researchers, leaders and academics from across Australia.

As the collective voice of nursing and midwifery educators, ANTS plays an important role in advancing educational excellence, supporting professional development, contributing to policy discussions and promoting best practice in teaching and learning. Through educational forums, professional standards, research initiatives, scholarships and networking opportunities, the Society helps shape the quality of nursing and midwifery education and ultimately the quality of patient care delivered across Australia.

About the National Nurse Education Conference (NNEC)

Held biennially, the National Nurse Education Conference is ANTS' premier event and one of Australia's leading gatherings for nurse and midwife educators and education leaders. The conference attracts delegates from universities, hospitals, health services, aged care, primary care, vocational education and specialist practice areas, creating a unique forum for collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange.

The conference explores innovative education design, showcasing emerging research, innovative teaching methodologies, workforce development strategies and advances in educational technology. Delegates attend to gain practical insights, contemporary education design, strengthen professional networks and contribute to conversations that influence the future direction of nursing and midwifery education in Australia.

The Conference Exhibition will bring together organisations, educators, industry partners and service providers showcasing the latest products, services and innovations supporting nursing and midwifery education and workforce development. Delegates will have the opportunity to explore new technologies, simulation and clinical education resources, digital learning platforms, workforce solutions, professional development opportunities, research initiatives, and health education services. The exhibition will provide a vibrant networking environment where delegates can connect with suppliers, universities, healthcare organisations, professional associations and industry leaders committed to advancing nursing education and practice.
