Visa

Weather
The weather across Australia varies throughout the eight states and territories. Australia has four seasons with a wet and dry season in the tropical north.
December to February - Summer
March to May - Autumn
June to August - Winter

Time Zones
Due to the size of Australia the country is divided into three separate time zones:
AEST - which is equal to Coordinated Universal Time plus 10 hours (UTC +10). This is for the states of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
ACST - which is equal to Coordinated Universal Time plus 9½ hours (UTC +9½). This is for the state of South Australia and the Northern Territory.
AWST - which is equal to Coordinated Universal Time plus 8 hours (UTC +8). This is for the state of Western Australia.
Daylight saving
Daylight saving is not observed in Queensland, the Northern Territory or Western Australia.
