Meet the Team

Dianna formed DC Conferences in 1987 in response to what she perceived was a market need for professionally run scientific and medical meetings. Her science background (BSc Biochemistry/Microbiology, Syd U) has helped DCC understand the needs of professional associations particularly in the areas of health and science. The business has grown and now has a strong Association Management side which is why the company changed its name in 2020 to DC Conference & Association Management, DCC&A.

Andrea is a resourceful, solutions-focused and goal-orientated leader, with extensive administration and business acumen across many industries. Andrea’s skill in fostering and nurturing teams adds to the success of each event she oversees.

Sandhya is a CIMA qualified Accountant with a vast experience of Financial and Management accounting in an interesting mix of industries including manufacturing, Media, Live Theatre Production and Not-for-profit organisations.

Jo joined DC Conference & Association Management in November 2014 and has over 20 years experience in the business events industry. Having worked in both Australia and New Zealand, 13 years of which have been working with local, national and international clients, predominately associations and two years working for a business events media company in Sydney. With her commercial knowledge and networks she optimises the sponsorship opportunities for DCC&A's clients. 

Alex joined DC Conference & Association Management as a Conference Coordinator in November 2011 and enjoyed growing in the role to be promoted to a Conference Manager in early 2014. She appreciates being able to work on events that bring together groups of people who are trying to make the world a better place. Alex is an Accredited Events Professional (AEP) through Meeting Events Australia (MEA) and looks forward to a long and rewarding career within the events industry.

Kate has worked her way through various roles starting as a administrator, through to conference coordinator and onto conference manager, which allows her to have a great appreciation for team work and how the different roles contribute to a successful event. Kate truly enjoys watching all the planning come into fruition onsite with the client. 

Having recently moved back from Melbourne, Margaret joined DCC&A in February 2023 and enjoys working with her clients to achieve their objectives with their conferences and meetings.

Sunny completed her Master Degree in Commerce at the University of Sydney and worked for an accounting firm before joining DC Conference & Association Management in 2007. She is a CPA qualified accountant and has over 7 years' experience of working with non-for-profit organisations. Sunny originally was DCC&A's finance manager before taking on the responsibility of overseeing the Association Management part of the businessis.

Tracy has a Bachelor of Economics degree from Macquarie University. Inspired by the work of the Australian Pain Society (APS), Tracy joined its Secretariat, DC Conference & Association Management, in February 2010. Tracy’s role as Project Officer includes assisting the APS to fulfil its strategic goals and enhancing membership services.

Kylie has a broad range of experience gained from working across various sectors in her career including event management, hospitality management and more recently, medical administration following her return to the workforce after spending time at home managing a busy household of five! 

Alex works with the Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Neuromodulation Society of Australia and New Zealand. Alex brings over 10 years experience working in Associations, most recently in the Biometrics sector.

Rosanna joined DC Conference & Association Management at the start of 2014 as a Conference Manager having previously assisted on many DCC events. Following on from her role as Conference Manager, Rosanna has now moved to managing one of DCC&A's Secretariats, The Spine Society. Rosanna has undergraduate degrees in Science, from The University of Sydney, and Commerce from Monash University, and has previously worked for a National Sporting Organisation where she was responsible for organising National Teams and events.

Claire joined the DCC&A Team in April 2024 as a Junior Conference Coordinator. After completing her Diploma in Event Management, she is passionate to grow her knowledge and skills within the events industry.

She is passionate about bringing people together to make a positive impact on industry education. Hannah was attracted to the events industry because of her bubbly personality and her desire to create engaging, memorable experiences. In her free time, she plays AFL for her local team.
