Ben Haneman Lecture

The Ben Haneman Memorial Lecture for 2015 will be delivered at the State Library of NSW with drinks and canapés on arrival.

Keynote Speaker Simon Chaplin will be delivering the lecture titled 'The Medical Library is History'.

This lecture will be open to the general public and tickets are limited.

Other Programme Features:

New opportunities for oral historians interested in the history of medicine.

Wednesday 1 July will feature an oral history strand headed by Professor Linda Bryder talking about her oral history project on nursing in the 1950s -1960s. Reduced rates are offered to members of Oral History Australia. Research students who are members of ANZSHM can apply for student grants to attend the conference and are also eligible to enter their papers for the Ben Haneman Memorial Prize.
